Friendship Caring Learning
The children have opportunities to develop in all areas through play and exploration guided by experienced and caring staff.
The Pre-School is based in its own large, open classroom with access to its own wonderful outdoor area including a large wooden sand pit, mud kitchen, music wall, ride on toys and a bird hide.
We have a large range of indoor and outdoor equipment to enhance the children’s love of learning within a creative and caring environment.
Pre-School children also have access to the whole school facilities including a large field, small woodland area, the school hall and a well-stocked and colourful library.
In Trackers we offer a stimulating, play-based environment both inside and out which supports the areas of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
The class is set up for children to involve themselves in challenging activities to develop and extend their learning. We develop learning based upon the children’s interests as well as aspects of our whole school Knowledge Curriculum.
Our provision is open term time only, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:45am until 3:15pm. Sessions can be booked directly with the school with either morning (8.45am-11.45am),
afternoon (12.15pm-3.15pm) or full day (8:45 -3:15) sessions available each day of the week.
If children are staying for a full day in our Pre-School, they will be with us during the lunch hour.
Parents/carers have the option of providing their own healthy packed lunch or pre-ordering a school meal at the cost of £2.41 each.
A full day session includes lunchtime care, but if you wish to add this to a morning or afternoon session, please speak to the office.
We accept 15 hour funding, 30 hour sole or shared funding and are also able to accept 2 year old funding from 36 months.
For those who require more than their free entitlement of 15 hours a week and do not meet the criteria for 30 hours, additional 3 hour sessions can be purchased.
For further information on fees and payment please see the Nursery Charging Policy.
I loved cooking pancakes for pancake day and making things with the arts and crafts.
I loved being outside in the garden and using the bikes. I loved making pictures with paint and colouring.
I loved building things in the construction area and making animal castles. I really loved being outside and I loved learning about dinosaurs and finding their fossils.
